-BLUE SHARK-
There are more than 500 species of sharks in the world, and they are distributed all over the world from shallow to deep seas in tropical and temperate zones.
More than 100 species inhabit the waters near Japan.
About 20 of them can be used as leather.
This time, we use blue sharks caught in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture.
The beautiful shading of the blue is due to the "heading process" that naturally burns and darkens the uneven surface by rubbing it after finishing it with blue pigment.
It has a beautiful finish with a three-dimensional effect created by hand by craftsmen.
-Features of leather lures-
When the degree of water absorption is low, the original S-shaped movement will not occur. Please adjust the weight according to the water temperature and the degree of water absorption by yourself. Adjust the weight by adjusting the weight according to the winding speed of the reel, so that the lure will not be out of balance. It may float or sink, so you will notice changes in the water in the field.
-Storage and maintenance of leather lures-
・Usually store in a dry state ・Please dry in a well-ventilated place after fishing・It is recommended to dry the lure in such a way that it does not come in contact with anything, such as when it is hung.
・For tackle cases, we recommend drilling holes to remove moisture (this makes it difficult for mold to grow).
