Commissioned Shinki Hikaku, which adheres to the philosophy of managing all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
This is a globally recognized 100% vegetable-tanned pit leather, based on a history, love, and pride for horsehide.
Even in an age where efficiency is prioritized, we continue the tradition of pit-tanned horse naked leather, which is the most time-consuming process.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible texture, the shining edges polished with bare hands, and the deepening luster with use, all characteristic of pit-tanned horse naked leather.

The New Gray Vintage, a year in the making
The horse naked leather Gray Vintage, realized through the excellent techniques of Shinki Hikaku.
Over the course of approximately one year since the last prototypes, Shinki Hikaku has addressed and improved all the issues found in the sample prototypes.

- We were able to achieve a finish for wallets and small items, distinct from that for clothing or bags, which tightens the naked leather fibers.
- The adhesion between the grain and flesh sides has increased, resulting in a tighter horse naked leather.

The result is an ideal horse naked leather finish with minimal grain lift.

Each item is meticulously crafted using the standard of construction built to maximize the excellent properties of horse naked leather and the techniques of Shinki Hikaku, who have long dialogued with horsehide, generously applied to the Horse Naked Leather Gray Vintage.

Originally devised for attaching wallet ropes, this became a Manifo eye-catcher and helped many people discover MANIFOLD.
The Silver Ring features an original silver ring adorned with the fondly remembered "Manifo concho."
