Commissioned from Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning to dyeing to finishing in-house.
Recognized worldwide for its history, love, and pride in horse leather, it is 100% vegetable-tanned pit-tanned leather.
Even in an age where efficiency is prioritized, they continue the pit tanning of horse leather, which takes the longest time.
Please enjoy the firm yet supple feel of pit-tanned horse leather, the gleaming edge that shines with simple polishing, and the increasing luster that deepens with use.

The exquisite technique of dyeing
The base color is dyed in a vibrant blue, then a translucent dark blue is dyed on top, and finally, paraffin is infused using heat.
This complex three-layer dyeing and finishing process creates the unique color of Blue Vintage.

After creating a thick luster through glazing, the leather is milled to produce a wrinkled and whitish texture.
Milling brings out a richer expression of the grain surface due to differences in fiber quality across various parts.

Each piece is meticulously crafted based on manufacturing standards developed to maximize the potential of this horse nude leather, which incorporates the wonderful inherent qualities of horse nude leather and the generous techniques of Shinki Hikaku, a company that has dialogued with horse leather for a long time.
