The exquisite art of dyeing
The complex dyeing process that creates this black vintage color involves dyeing the base color a deliberately uneven black without allowing the dye to permeate the core of the horse leather, and then dyeing it with a translucent brown hue on top.

The exquisite art of finishing
After achieving a thick luster through glazing, a crumpling process is applied to create wrinkles and a frosted effect.
The crumpling process brings out a richer expression of the grain surface, due to differences in fiber quality across different parts.
