we have actively adopted dark plating for the metal parts and
brown core leather with a wax finish based on horse naked leather.

The combination of horse naked leather with a brown core and dark plated metal fittings
will be named and developed as - GB Specification - (Germanic Bronze Specification).


The origin of "darl plating" is said to be derived from the English word "Dark,"
or from its darkish color "Darl."

Historically, there were various color variations of darl, and
it was widely used as a luxurious decorative finish in the Japanese furniture industry from the 1960s to the 1970s.

The manufacturing method involves thinly plating brass or copper with black.
When new, the finish is not just black; it creates subtle gradations with color unevenness and light, and
as it is used, the metal parts also develop a brown core-like texture, which is a characteristic of darl plating.

Among the various shades of darl plating,
the color name "Germanic Bronze" exists.
