Commissioned to Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
They are recognized worldwide for their 100% vegetable-tanned pit-tanning, based on their history, love, and pride in horse leather.
They continue to use the pit-tanning method for horse leather, which is the most time-consuming process, even in this era where efficiency is prioritized.
Please enjoy the firmness, flexibility, brilliantly polished edges, and the deep luster that develops with use, all inherent in pit-tanned horse leather.

New Gray Vintage developed over a year
Horse Nume Gray vintage realized through Shinki Hikaku's exceptional craftsmanship.
From last year's prototypes, Shinki Hikaku addressed all issues found in the sample prototypes over approximately one year.

・The firmness of the nume fibers was adjusted for wallets and small items, differing from finishes for clothing or bags.
・The adhesion between the grain side and flesh side was increased, resulting in firm horse leather.

The result is an ideal horse nume finish with minimal grain lifting.

The horse leather Gray Vintage, incorporating the wonderful characteristics of horse leather and Shinki Hikaku's abundant expertise cultivated over a long history with horsehide, is meticulously crafted one by one according to our manufacturing standards, aiming to maximize the potential of this horse leather.

The T-bar, a distinctive MANIFOLD embellishment, is featured on the middle wallet.
Originally conceived for attaching a wallet chain, it became a signature element for MANIFOLD, helping many discover the brand.
The Silver Ring features an original silver ring adorned with the nostalgic "Manihokoncho" (Manihoconcho).
