[COMPACT WALLET]

With the trend towards cashless payments, small wallets are gaining attention.
We realized that small wallets are actually useful in many more situations.

Outdoors such as fishing and camping
When going out in a suit
Overseas travel, etc...

Even if it's small, it's easy to use, and even if it's small, it's highly visible.
The thinness and flexibility of horse tanned leather make it less bulky when put in a pocket.
It's a compact wallet that's convenient to have.

-Horse Tanned BLUE VINTAGE-
Commissioned Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning, dyeing, and finishing in-house.
100% vegetable tanned pit tanning recognized worldwide, based on a history, love, and pride for horse leather.
Even in modern times where efficiency is prioritized, we continue to use pit tanning for horse tanned leather, which takes the most time.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible feel, the lustrous edge that shines with polishing, and the increasing depth of luster with use, all of which are characteristics of pit tanned horse leather.
The Art of Dyeing
The base color is dyed a vibrant blue, then a dark blue translucent color is applied, and finally, paraffin is infused using heat.
This complex 3-layer dyeing and finishing process creates the color of this Blue Vintage.

The Art of Finishing
After creating a thick luster through glazing, a揉み (momi) process is applied to create wrinkles and a frosted appearance.
The揉み (momi) process brings out richer grain patterns due to differences in fiber quality in different parts of the leather.

We produce each item one by one, adhering to our standards of craftsmanship, to maximize the beautiful characteristics of horse tanned leather and the techniques of Shinki Hikaku, who have had a long history with horse leather.

-ELEFANT-
Currently, the elephant leather in circulation comes from African elephants.
It is characterized by large folds and wrinkles that differ depending on the part of the body, and if you look closely, you can see a fine granular raised grain (epidermis).
The luster increases with use, and the thick elephant leather has a sense of gravitas.
By skiving only the edges diagonally, we maintained the substantial feel of elephant leather while creating a beautiful, integrated edge with the horse leather.
This elephant leather features a very elaborate finish where blue pearl color is applied only to the recessed parts of the uneven surface, which is dyed black. This creates various expressions depending on the viewing angle and light.
It is a pearl navy that appeals to the playful spirit of adults, handcrafted by artisans.
