[Horse Nume Extra-Thick Genuine Shrink]

The three-dimensional feel and calm atmosphere unique to genuine shrink


This is a full hide (one horse).
The part that looks like a mane (tate-gami) in the lower left is located on the neck.
The rump in the upper right also contains the Cordovan layer.

Horse Nume extra-thick genuine shrink, which can only be made from extra-thick horse Nume with an original thickness exceeding 2mm, can truly be called carefully selected leather.
Horse Nume has a grain (ginmen) with the contradictory properties of strength and flexibility.
I feel that it is a special leather that is resistant to tensile strength and flexible, making it less prone to scratches.



[Dahl Specification]

Dahl plating, which develops a brown core over time, is used for the metal parts.
When it comes to Manifol, German hooks come to mind. I encountered these hooks about 20 years ago. They don't open when pulled, but open easily when the tab is pulled. We adopted the second generation of such German hooks, which transitioned from TENAX to LOXX and are still robust Made in Germany.


Dahl plating is also applied to the brass bottom studs.
This might be where the aging of the dahl plating first appears.
