-SMALL CROCODILE-
The representative of crocodile leather
Crocodile leather with beautifully arranged rectangular scales on the belly is considered the highest quality crocodile leather.
It inhabits brackish waters where bays, rivers, and fresh water mix, such as in Papua New Guinea, Australia, and Indonesia.
Compared to Nile crocodiles, it is a species more resistant to saltwater.
Due to overhunting, small crocodiles from Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia are now listed in Appendix II.
Due to the small absolute number and frequent trade with luxury brands, they are traded at very high prices.
Please enjoy the moist texture and the fine, well-ordered scale patterns of the beautiful bamboo and round scales.
The exquisite technique of dyeing (Sumizome)

Crocodile leather, softened with oil, is soaked in a bath of water and ink.
Dyeing is then carried out.
By thoroughly managing the bath temperature and hand-dyeing by skilled craftsmen,
The unique vintage and wild feel of natural dyes is expressed.
Ink is difficult to fix in color, and previously, ink-dyed leather has long faced challenges with easy color fading and color transfer.
This time, through the many years of experience, technical expertise, and exquisite dyeing techniques of this tannery,
They succeeded in creating ink-dyed crocodile leather that is resistant to severe color fading and transfer.
The finish has a matte texture, so you can enjoy the aging process as you use it, such as an increase in luster and changes in the ink-dyed color.
-Horse Nume GRAY VINTAGE-
Commissioned to Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning, dyeing, and finishing in-house.
Recognized worldwide for their history, love, and pride in horse leather, they use 100% vegetable tannin pit-tanning.
They continue the tradition of pit-tanning horse leather, which takes the longest time, even in this era where efficiency is prioritized.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible texture, the polished edges that shine, and the deepening luster that develops with use, all characteristic of pit-tanned horse leather.
New Gray Vintage after one year of development
Horse Nume Gray vintage realized by Shinki Hikaku's excellent technology
From last year's prototype, Shinki Hikaku has improved all the problems found in the prototype samples over approximately one year.
・The tightening of the nume fibers, which is different from the finish for clothing and bags, has been finished for wallets and small items.
・The adhesion between the grain and the flesh side has increased, resulting in a tighter horse nume.
And the ideal horse nume finish with less grain lift has been achieved.

Horse Nume Gray Vintage, a product that incorporates the wonderful characteristics of horse nume and the unreserved technology of Shinki Hikaku, who has a long history with horse leather.
Each item is manufactured one by one based on manufacturing standards developed to maximize the potential of this horse nume.
*Products in Gray Vintage will have slightly different gray hues and unevenness.
We hope you enjoy this as a unique characteristic of this leather.
