Recognized worldwide for its history, love, and pride in horse leather, it uses 100% vegetable-tanned pit tanning.
Even in modern times where efficiency is prioritized, they continue the time-consuming pit tanning process for horse naked leather.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible texture, the shining edges from simple polishing, and the deepening luster with use, all inherent in pit-tanned horse naked leather.

The Art of Dyeing
The base color is dyed brown without penetrating the core of the horse naked leather, and then a transparent black dye is applied over it, creating the complex coloring of this Black Vintage.

The Art of Finishing
After achieving a thick luster through glazing, a揉み加工 (crumpling process) is performed to create wrinkles and a frosted appearance.
The crumpling process reveals a richer expression of the grain surface due to differences in fiber quality depending on the area.
