Commissioned from Shinki Hikaku, which adheres to the philosophy of managing all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
100% vegetable-tanned pit-tanning recognized worldwide, based on the history, love, and pride for horsehide.
Even in an age where efficiency is prioritized, we continue the tradition of pit-tanning horsehide, which is the most time-consuming process.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible texture, the lustrous edge achieved by simple polishing, and the deepening luster with use, all found in pit-tanned horsehide.

Horse Nume Gray Vintage, achieved through Shinki Hikaku's exceptional dyeing techniques.
A wonderful color that surpassed our imagination.
A dyeing process so difficult to reproduce that it's uncertain if it can be done again.
Until the current batch of leather is fully utilized, we will continue to offer items in small quantities.

Mastery of finishing techniques
After achieving a thick luster through glazing, a揉み加工 (momi-kako:揉み加工) is applied to create wrinkles and a frosted effect.
This揉み加工 (momi-kako) further enriches the grain surface, showcasing the differences in fiber quality across various parts of the leather.

Horse Nume Gray Vintage was realized by generously applying the wonderful characteristics of horse Nume and Shinki Hikaku's techniques, honed through long years of engagement with horse leather.
Each item is crafted according to our established standards, aimed at maximizing the beauty of this horse Nume.

-Russell's Viper-
A highly venomous snake of the Viperidae family, like the mamushi and habu, it inhabits the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
The Russell's viper is feared as one of India's "Big Four" venomous snakes, alongside the carpet viper, Indian cobra, and krait.
Terrestrial snakes, which prefer relatively dry areas such as grasslands and farmland, are characterized by a well-developed central bellows.
It is a rare leather with very limited distribution.
