We created this item by using different parts of the hide—the butt (torso below the shoulder) and the shoulder (neck to shoulder)—for specific components.
The fine, beautiful grain, firm grain layer, and supple yet firm texture are proof of stable and dense fiber orientation.
This is a very high-quality, historic vegetable-tanned leather that has been continuously used by top-tier global brands.

The natural leather has a texture that "sticks" to the blade when cut with a leather knife.

The edges and back also create a beautiful shine with light polishing.

When bent, it produces a distinctive "squeak" sound unique to natural leather.

It bends smoothly with a uniform curve, conveying a clear sense of high density.
