Horse Nume Tan, added as a new color in 2024.
Thanks to this horse nume, I learned a lot more about what horse nume leather is, and how to bring out its best qualities, combining my past experiences over the past year. It is an important leather that has taught me a lot.

Horse Nume has a strong yet flexible grain surface.
It is strong against tensile forces and flexible, making it a special leather that is resistant to scratches.
It has been finished in a way that allows you to truly experience the strength of the leather.

- Maximizing the versatility of Horse Nume leather -

We wanted everyone to experience the versatility of Horse Nume leather,
so we challenged ourselves with the 2025 TEST SAMPLE, focusing on "finish" and "texture."

It uses the same leather as the MK-01 (TAN) currently on sale and available for order.
The 2025 TEST SAMPLE specification, however, is tailored with a hardness that feels gentler.
When you touch it, you'll feel the unique firmness of nume, along with a plump, just-right thickness and supple texture.
The bag itself is also lighter than the regular model.

The appearance is the same,
but the texture is completely different when touched.
This kind of tailoring is only possible because horse nume is such a versatile leather.

- Tote bag with the functionality of a regular bag -

When it comes to Manihos, it's German hooks.
I first encountered these hooks about 20 years ago.
They don't open when pulled.
They open easily when the tab is pulled.
We adopted the second generation of such German hooks.
Moving from TENAX to LOXX, they are still going strong, Made in Germany.
I can still vividly recall the impression I had when I first encountered them.



Overturning the concept of a tote bag as merely a pouch,
Manihos' tote bags incorporate the functionality of a regular bag.

First,
a new mechanism with a divider in the center of the interior.

That divider has a hidden pocket with a zipper.


The side pockets are suspended,
a specification to prevent the outlines of items in the pockets from showing through to the outside of the bag.

One side has a two-section vertical pocket that fits a smartphone.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like a mobile battery.
