Horse Nume Tan, added as a new color in 2024
Thanks to this horse nume leather, we learned a lot about what horse nume leather is, and how to maximize its brilliance, including our past experiences, over the past year. It is a very important leather for us.

Horse nume leather has a grain (ginmen) with contradictory elements: toughness and flexibility.
It is strong against tensile force and flexible, so it is a special leather that is resistant to scratches. The finished product allows you to experience what leather strength truly means.

- Maximizing the versatility of horse nume leather -

We want everyone to feel the versatility of horse nume leather.
This 2025 TEST SAMPLE was a challenge with the themes of "finish" and "texture."

It uses the same leather as the currently available and orderable MK-01 (TAN).
In contrast, the 2025 TEST SAMPLE specification is tailored with a hardness that exudes gentleness.
When touched, it has the firmness unique to nume leather, yet also a soft, moderately thick, and supple texture.
The weight of the bag itself is also lighter than regular models.

The appearance is the same.
The texture is completely different to the touch.
This craftsmanship is possible precisely because horse nume leather is so versatile.

- Tote bag with bag functionality -

When it comes to Manifold, it's German fasteners.
I encountered these fasteners about 20 years ago.
They don't open when pulled.
They open easily when the knob is pulled.
We adopted the second generation of German fasteners with this specification.
From TENAX to LOXX, still a Made in Germany product.
I still vividly remember the excitement I felt when I first discovered them.



Breaking the concept of a tote bag as just a pouch,
Manifold's tote bag incorporates bag functionality.

First,
a new mechanism with a divider in the middle of the interior.

A hidden zippered pocket is provided in that divider.


Side pockets are hanging style.
This specification prevents the outline of items placed in the pockets from showing through the outside of the bag.

One side has a two-section vertical pocket for smartphones.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like mobile batteries.
