The Horse Nume C-GREEN we are offering this time is casein-finished horse nume leather.
This horse nume leather has a unique expression that can evoke both nostalgia and novelty depending on the viewer.

(What is casein finish?)
A method of leather finishing. It involves applying a coating primarily composed of casein (the main protein in milk), mixed with dyes and waxes, to the grain side of the leather, then spraying a fixative, and finally glazing it to create a luster. (Excerpt from "Leather Terminology Dictionary" by Japan Leather and Leather Goods Industries Federation)

The intense wrinkles and unevenness, combined with the luster from the casein finish, create a strong presence that we couldn't resist the urge to "make into something!"

Horse nume leather has both strong and flexible grain (ginmen) - contradictory elements.
I believe it is a special leather that is resistant to tensile strength and flexible, making it less prone to scratches.

the 2025 TEST SAMPLE challenged itself with the themes of 【finish】 and 【texture】.

To maximize this texture and color, this bag is tailored with a moderate firmness that also feels soft.
The bag itself is also lighter than regular models.

-A tote bag with the functionality of a regular bag-

Speaking of Manifol, it's German hooks.
I encountered these hooks about 20 years ago.
They don't open when pulled.
They open easily when the knob is pulled.
We adopted the second generation of German hooks with such specifications.
From TENAX to LOXX, still going strong, Made in Germany.
I still vividly remember the excitement I felt when I first encountered them.



Manifol's tote bag overturns the concept of a tote bag as just a pouch,
incorporating the functionality of a regular bag.

First,
a new mechanism with a divider in the middle of the interior.


We've added a hidden zippered pocket to that divider.


The side pockets are hanging type.
This specification is to prevent the outline of items placed in the pockets from showing through the bag's exterior.

One side has two vertical pockets for a smartphone.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like mobile batteries.
