-Horse Nume C-BROWN-

The Horse Nume C-Brown we are proposing this time is casein-finished horse Nume leather. This horse Nume leather has a unique look that can evoke both nostalgia and novelty, depending on the viewer.

(What is casein finish?)
One method of leather finishing. A coating material mainly composed of casein (the main protein in milk), mixed with dyes and waxes, is applied to the grain side of the leather, then a fixative is sprayed, and a gloss is produced by glazing (Excerpt from the Japan Leather Industries Federation's "Leather Terminology Dictionary").

The intense wrinkles and unevenness, combined with the luster from the casein finish, create a presence that I couldn't resist the urge to "turn into a tangible product!"

Horse Nume has a strong yet flexible grain (ginmen). I feel that it is a special leather that is resistant to tensile strength and flexible, making it less prone to scratches.

- Maximizing the versatility of horse Nume leather -

We want everyone to experience the versatility of horse Nume leather, so the 2025 TEST SAMPLE was a challenge themed around "finish" and "texture."

To maximize this texture and color, this bag is made with a hardness that provides moderate stiffness while still feeling gentle. The bag itself is also lighter than regular models.

- A tote bag with the functionality of a regular bag -

Speaking of Manifo, German hooks.
I encountered these hooks about 20 years ago. They don't open when pulled, but open easily when the tab is pulled. We adopted the second generation of such German hooks.
From TENAX to LOXX, these Made in Germany hooks are still going strong. I still vividly remember the excitement I felt when I first discovered them.



Manifo's tote bags overturn the traditional concept of a tote bag as merely a pouch, incorporating the functionality of a regular bag.

First, a new mechanism with a divider in the middle of the interior.

We've added a hidden zippered pocket to that divider.


The side pockets are suspended, a design feature to prevent the outlines of items stored inside from protruding on the bag's exterior.

One side has a vertical pocket with two compartments that can hold a smartphone.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like a mobile battery.
