The horse nume hand-dyed brown we are offering this time is dyed by artisans, one sheet at a time.
The random unevenness unique to hand-dyeing creates an exquisite color that further enhances the brown, truly a testament to the artisan's skill.
The fine-grained horse nume leather, when glazed, brings out a luster and expression similar to cordovan.

Since the dyeing is done by surface dyeing, we are very much looking forward to how it will change over time.

Horse nume has a grain surface that possesses contradictory elements: strength and flexibility.
It is highly resistant to pulling and flexible, making it a special leather that is resistant to scratches.

To let everyone experience the versatility of horse nume leather,
the 2025 TEST SAMPLE challenges the themes of [Finish] and [Texture].

This product is crafted with a texture that, contrary to its cold and hard appearance,
offers the firm yet soft and supple feel of Nume leather when touched.
The bag itself is also lighter than regular models.


-A Tote Bag with Bag Functionality-

When it comes to Manifold, it's German snap fasteners.
I first encountered these fasteners about 20 years ago.
They don't open when pulled.
They open easily when the tab is pulled.
We adopted the second generation of such German snap fasteners.
Transitioning from TENAX to LOXX, they are still going strong, Made in Germany.
I vividly remember the excitement I felt when I first saw them.



Overturning the concept of a tote bag as just a pouch,
Manifold's tote bag incorporates bag functionality.

First,
a new mechanism with a divider in the center of the interior.

This divider has a hidden zippered pocket.


The side pockets are hanging type.
This design prevents the outline of items in the pockets from showing through the bag's exterior.

One side has a vertical pocket for a smartphone.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like a mobile battery.
