- Horse Leather Core Black -

The horse leather black we are proposing this time is a core black dyed with dyes.
It is dyed with an exquisite finish, allowing the base color to subtly show through.
The edges are finished with a polished raw edge, and the stitching is in a dark brown color.

We are very much looking forward to seeing how this core black will transform as you use it.

Horse leather possesses a grain (ginmen) that is both tough and flexible, seemingly contradictory elements.
I believe it is a special leather that is strong against tension and flexible, making it resistant to scratches.

The 2025 TEST SAMPLE challenged the themes of [Finish] and [Texture] to showcase the versatility of horse leather.

The core black, which gives a sense of substance like a leather jacket.
To maximize this texture and color, this bag is made with a firm, substantial feel.
It has a weight and texture similar to our standard models.


- Tote bag with bag functionality -

Manifo is known for its German fasteners.
I encountered these fasteners about 20 years ago.
They don't open when pulled.
They open easily when the tab is pulled.
We use the second generation of such German fasteners.
Moving from TENAX to LOXX, they are still Made in Germany.
The excitement I felt when I first encountered them is still vivid in my memory.



Manifo's tote bag overturns the traditional concept of a tote bag as a simple "bag"
by incorporating advanced bag functionalities.

First,
a new mechanism with a divider in the middle of the interior.


This divider features a hidden zippered pocket.


The side pockets are suspended,
a design choice to prevent the outline of items placed inside from showing through on the outside of the bag.

One side has a vertical pocket for a smartphone.

The other side has a horizontal pocket for small items like a mobile battery.
