Of these, approximately 20 species can be used for leather.
This product uses Blue Shark.
Shark Gray, finished by skilled artisans using several colors, possesses a mysterious presence.
It pairs perfectly with Horse Nume Gray Vintage.

Commissioned from Shinki Hikaku, a company whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
They are recognized worldwide for their 100% vegetable-tanned pit leather, based on a history, love, and pride for horse leather.
Even in modern times where efficiency is prioritized, they continue the tradition of pit-tanned horse leather, which is the most time-consuming process.
Please savor the firm yet flexible texture inherent in pit-tanned horse leather, the beautifully polished edges, and the increasing depth of luster with use.

New Gray Vintage, a year in the making
Horse Nume Gray Vintage, realized by the exceptional craftsmanship of Shinki Hikaku.
After approximately a year since the initial prototypes, Shinki Hikaku addressed and improved all issues found in the sample prototypes.

・The tightness of the nume fibers was adjusted for wallets and small items, differing from finishes for garments or bags.
・The adhesion between the grain and flesh side was increased, resulting in a firm horse nume leather.

This resulted in an ideal horse nume leather with minimal grain lift.

Each item is meticulously crafted based on production standards developed to maximize the appeal of Horse Nume Gray Vintage, which generously incorporates the wonderful characteristics of horse leather and the expertise of Shinki Hikaku, a company that has long interacted with horse leather.
