Jacuruxy, a type of lizard.
The oval-shaped dorsal scales running from its head to its back resemble a crocodile's back.
Its belly has the same scale pattern as a lizard.
Due to its unique pattern, it is also called a caiman lizard (crocodile lizard).
Mainly inhabiting Brazil and Guyana in South America, Jacuruxy leather is now difficult to obtain.
Jacuruxy leather large enough to make a long wallet is even rarer.

Commissioned from Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
Recognized worldwide for their 100% vegetable-tanned pit-tanning, based on a history, love, and pride for horse leather.
Continuing the pit-tanning of horse leather, which takes the longest time, even in an era where efficiency is prioritized.
Please enjoy the core firmness, flexibility, lustrous edges polished by hand, and the increasing depth of luster with use, all found in pit-tanned horse nume.

New GRAY VINTAGE, taking one year to develop.
Horse Nume Gray Vintage, realized through the outstanding technology of Shinki Hikaku.
Over the course of about a year since last year's prototype, Shinki Hikaku addressed and improved all issues found in the prototype samples.

・The tightness of the nume fibers was finished for wallets and small leather goods, differing from finishes for clothing or bags.
・The adhesion between the grain and flesh sides increased, resulting in a tighter horse nume.

The result was an ideal horse nume with minimal grain lift.



Each item is crafted one by one, adhering to our manufacturing standards that aim to maximize the exquisite characteristics of horse nume and the techniques of Shinki Hikaku, who have long worked with horse leather.

The silver ring features our original silver ring adorned with what we affectionately call the "Manifold concho."
