Currently, the elephant leather in circulation is from African elephants.
It features large folds and wrinkles that are characteristic of each part, and if you look closely, you can see fine grain (epidermis) raised in granular patterns.
The luster increases with use, and the thick elephant leather has a profound feel.
By skiving only the edges diagonally, we express a beautiful edge surface that integrates with the horse nude leather while utilizing the profound feel of the elephant leather.


-Horse Nude GRAY VINTAGE-
Commissioned Shinki Hikaku, which adheres to the philosophy of managing all processes from tanning, dyeing, and finishing in-house.
Recognized worldwide for its 100% vegetable-tanned pit-tanned horse leather, based on a history, love, and pride in horse leather.
Even in modern times where efficiency is prioritized, they continue the pit-tanning of horse nude leather, which is the most time-consuming process.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible texture of pit-tanned horse nude leather, the beautifully polished edges, and the luster that deepens with use.

New Gray Vintage, a year in the making
The horse nude Gray Vintage was realized through the exceptional craftsmanship of Shinki Hikaku.
It took approximately one year from last year's prototypes, and Shinki Hikaku addressed all the issues found in the prototype samples.

・Unlike finishes for clothing and bags, the leather fiber was tightened for wallets and small leather goods.
・The adhesion between the grain side and flesh side was increased, resulting in firm horse nude leather.

And the result was ideal horse nude leather with minimal grain lift.



We produce each item using our established manufacturing standards, aiming to maximize the wonderful characteristics of horse nude leather and the techniques of Shinki Hikaku, who have long worked with horse leather, which they poured into this Horse Nude Gray Vintage.

*For products in Gray Vintage, each one will have a different shade and unevenness of gray.

Originally designed to attach a wallet rope, this became a signature element of Manifold and helped many people discover MANIFOLD.
The Silver Ring features an original silver ring adorned with the fondly remembered "Manifold Concho."
