Jacaruxi belongs to the lizard family.
The oval dorsal scales lined up from the head to the back are like the back of a crocodile.
The belly has the same scale pattern as a lizard.
Because of its unique pattern, it is also called a caiman lizard (crocodile lizard).
It mainly inhabits Brazil and Guyana in South America, but Jacaruxi leather is now difficult to obtain.
Jacaruxi leather large enough to make a long wallet is even rarer.

-Horse undyed BLACK VINTAGE-
Commissioned to Shinki Hikaku, whose philosophy is to manage all processes from tanning to dyeing and finishing in-house.
Recognized worldwide for its history, love, and pride in horse leather, it is a 100% vegetable-tanned pit leather.
Even in an age where efficiency is prioritized, the pit tanning of horse undyed leather, which takes the longest time, is still preserved.
Please enjoy the firm yet flexible feel of pit-tanned horse undyed leather, the shiny edge surfaces when polished, and the increasing depth of luster with use.

The master craft of dyeing
This Black Vintage color is created through a complex dyeing process where the base color is dyed in a deliberately uneven black without allowing the dye to penetrate the core of the horse undyed leather, and then dyed with a translucent brownish color on top.

The master craft of finishing
After applying a thick sheen through glazing, a creased and whitened effect is created through a揉み (momi) process.
The揉み (momi) process brings out the rich surface texture, which varies depending on the fiber quality of different parts.

Horse undyed Black Vintage, created by fully utilizing the wonderful properties of horse undyed leather and the techniques of Shinki Hikaku, which has a long history of working with horse leather.
Each item is manufactured one by one, based on construction standards built to maximize the potential of this horse undyed leather.

Originally conceived for attaching a wallet rope, this became a Manifo eye-catcher and helped many people discover MANIFOLD.
The Silver Ring features an original silver ring adorned with what is affectionately known as the "Manifo Concho," also a nostalgic item.
